Traditional energy companies make more money from you using more energy! Why would they want you to use less? It just isnt fair. We are a New Zealand electricity company with a difference and want to help you save.

It’s very simple. We will pass on all your costs at the price that we pay for them and charge you a small weekly club fee. Some of these costs we will have to estimate, but at the end of the year if we make money on them we will give it back - 50% to the benefit of our club members in the future and 50% to the community. Now that is fair.

We bill on a weekly basis and payment is automatic, a couple of days later, by direct debit from your bank account or credit card (a 1.5% card fee applies). This helps our customers to stay away from the monthly big bills, improve budgeting and it also helps us to keep our costs low.

energyclubnz are also passionate about giving the “Power back to the people”. That’s why our mobile app will provide customers with the data they need to manage their energy consumption at any time of the day and from any location.

Use our mobile app to gain access to, “My Account” where you’ll have access to the following information and support functions including:

Account Details, Make a payment, Latest Invoice, Latest Transactions, Energy usage Consumption, Energy Usage Projection, Billing Cycle, Next Reading Date, Register Preferred Language and
Contact Us including ‘Chat’.

Please note a smart meter is required to join energyclubnz and utilise our mobile app service. We automatically check that you have a smart meter during the sign up process.
